Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

To do its job, High Roller stores a small amount of data:

• User IDs: So the bot can track each player's balance, inventory, and leaderboard standing.
• Server IDs and Channel IDs: To save your server's settings and configuration.
• Usernames and Nicknames: Shown on leaderboards and profiles so scores are readable.
• Economy and Game Data: Virtual currency balances, pets, badges, wins/losses, and other game progress.
• Message Content: Read only to parse chat commands and capture typed minigame answers (e.g. trivia). Raw messages are processed in the moment, not stored.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run the economy: track balances, purchases, and rewards.
• To power minigames and record wins, losses, and progress.
• To build leaderboards and grant role-based rewards.
• To remember your server's settings between restarts.

3. Data Sharing

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone. It stays within the context of the servers High Roller is running in, and that's it.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We hold onto your server's config and mod logs for as long as High Roller is in your server. If you want your data deleted, just reach out via Discord and we'll take care of it within 7 days. If you kick the bot from your server, all your server's data is eligible for deletion on request too.

5. Data Security and Encryption

Everything is stored on a private server that only we can access. All traffic between the bot and Discord goes through TLS, so it's encrypted in transit. Stored data is also encrypted at rest using AES-256 (a LUKS-encrypted volume). We take reasonable precautions to keep the data safe, but no system is completely bulletproof and we can't promise 100% security.

6. Your Rights

You can ask us to show you what data we have on you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it entirely. Just reach out via Discord and we'll handle it within 7 days.

7. Children's Privacy

High Roller isn't meant for anyone under 13. If you think a minor's data has ended up in the system, let us know and we'll remove it right away.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when things change. The date at the top will always show when it was last revised. Continuing to use High Roller after an update means you're okay with the new version.
